About us

My love for horses began when my great grandmother got me into riding at the age of five. I started out riding English while learning the basics and building the foundation to become the rider and trainer I am today. I rode western pleasure for nearly two years when I realized I had a need for speed and got into barrel racing. I have been riding for about 16 years total, barrel racing for about nine, and have been training horses for about five years total. I have found a deeper love and passion for training horses, riding and teaching as it brings me over the moon to watch the progression and goals met by training horses, riders, and horse/rider combo. 

I currently own three mares, MJ (pictured to the left), RC and Sister. I bought MJ who is 17 currently, when she was 9 years old and unhandled, I did the majority of her training myself which is when I really fell in love with horse training. It was a different feeling to win and accomplish goals on a horse I trained myself. MJ and I still barrel race, but she is also used as a lesson horse. I bought RC who is currently 15, when she was 10 because MJ was injured. RC was already trained on barrels, so we raced for a few months before an old injury caused her to end her career. RC is living the retired life and enjoying every second of being spoiled. Lastly, I have Sister who is a 7 year old OTTB that I am restarting and I think will be a nice athletic barrel horse prospect.
